How it all started... the tent Part 1

There was this nice couple who just got married. As a wedding gift, they received a truck tent. This is a tent that fits on the bed of a truck. It's real nice if your there by yourself. However, this nice couple only had a Ford Ranger, hardly enough room for two to sleep comfortably. Made for a rough night, but they tried it for several nights. The second night they added padding for the bed, the grooves on the bed were especially rough.

After that camping excursion they decided they needed a real tent...

The bride and groom went off to find a tent. The groom said, "pick whatever tent you would like dear". Perhaps this was a mistake but he wanted his new bride happy. So the bride picked the tent that included two rooms and a screened porch. Why you may ask, well everyone knows that you must have a room to potty in with privacy, and in the event you're camping at a place with mosquitoes, the screened porch will be useful. They went home.

The loving couple had a chance to try out their new tent. So they journeyed off to a local favorite camping site on a plateau near the top of a small mountain. They eagerly set up tent, and enjoyed the afternoon sun with drink in hand. The sun was starting to set and the day was drawing to an end. Out of nowhere, a freak cold storm blew in and it blew. It started to hail, then pour down rain, and the wind continued to blow. They made the decision they had to abandoned camp and move to the lower level for shelter. The weather just turned ugly real quick. While the groom drove various items to the new campsite, the lodge, the bride tried to gather up as much of their belongings as possible before abandoning ship. The wind was blowing so bad there were times where she was afraid of being blown over the side of the mountain. Finally and soaking wet, the two of them settled in the lodge for the remainder of the night.

The next morning, the two went back up the mountain to see what was left. Well, what they found was parts of a coffee pot, and the four stakes in the ground where the tent had once been, and some fabric left attached to one stake. Looking down the mountain, they saw their tent, torn to shreds.

Next came the Popup Tent...
